Are you live yet?
Not yet. GardenRouteNet is pre-launch. Our first tower site (PW01, Pacaltsdorp) is in deployment and the second (TW01, Thembalethu) is in qualification. Early registrations are shaping who gets installed first once a site is commissioned.
Is there a contract or a minimum term?
No. All launch plans are strictly month to month. No minimum term, no early-termination fee, no fair-use throttling. Launch pricing is exactly what you will be billed.
What speeds and quality can I actually expect?
Launch plans are 5 / 10 / 15 Mbps uncapped and unshaped. Because the network is locally owned and built to low contention, the advertised speed is a speed you should see consistently. Not a best-case number buried in asterisks.
Who owns the hardware installed at my home?
GardenRouteNet owns the outdoor antenna (CPE) mounted at your property. It is part of the network. The install fee covers labour, mounting, cabling and commissioning. If you cancel, we collect the CPE. The Wi-Fi router included in the "Install + router" option is yours to keep.
Do you offer internet for businesses?
Yes. Business connectivity is available on request and scoped per site. Submit an address check or message us directly and we will reply with an honest quote, uptime expectations and install timeline.
What if I am not in Pacaltsdorp or Thembalethu?
Register anyway. Choose "Other George suburb" or "Outside George". We keep a record of every address, and demand from specific streets directly influences which suburb we plan next.
Why so few areas at launch?
Because running two sites well is more useful than running six sites badly. The rollout grows tower by tower, suburb by suburb. Every area we list is an area we have physically planned. Not a sales map.
